Julianna Garibay-Sparacio is the sole proprietor of JGS International Consulting that guides U.S. and international companies and major B2C and B2B brands on global transformations, including progressive customer growth and go-to-market strategies, including AI innovations, and change management planning and training for companies transitioning to AI digitalization.
Over the past few years, Julianna has led strategies to create and launch a Spanish-language streaming service for Hallmark Media (Hallmark en Español) that has been distributed on 10+ major platforms in first year of launch. Additional partnerships also include training streaming distribution teams on AI integration of content translations that included integration of NLP and machine translation tools. Leadership and team advisement included training on regional dialects, idiomatic expressions, cultural nuances and improved localization with AI digitization strategies to ensure quality and accelerated timing that significantly reduced costs.
Julianna is a part-time faculty lead for Rice Business - Jones Graduate School of Business’ MBA@Rice Global Field Experience program. She has also served as an on-site advisory consultant for EVFY, Inc., a sustainable and renewable energy clean-tech start-up in Southern California. Julianna was an executive member of the team to envision electric vehicle charging and other green mobility solutions for the company. She led the strategy to address sustainable, climate change challenges that include sustainable index models via AI digitalization to empower people to reduce their carbon footprint and live sustainable lives. During that time, she was a national board member of the Electric Vehicle Association to address policy initiatives and thought leadership on the most advanced and current technologies in the space.
Previously in New York, Julianna was the Vice President of Marketing & Communications for 605, LLC, a TV data analytics firm within the media & entertainment industry. JGS has played a pivotal role in advising on and negotiating international TV partnerships, generating new revenue by guiding global businesses from Latin America, Europe, and Asia in penetrating U.S. markets and acquiring U.S. distribution through major telecoms, satellite companies and TV streaming services. She was also intricately involved in developing new product platforms for advertising & content measurement, full-attribution, media planning, optimization and analytical solutions with viewership datasets covering more than 21+ million U.S. households.
Throughout her career, Julianna has served in key media leadership roles within the cable industry, including lead responsibility for international product strategy for Altice and the former Cablevision {one of the largest U.S. broadband communications and video services providers).
